Project Title
Development of Smartphone Integrated Generic Microfluidic Devices for Rapid, Portable, and Affordable Point-of-Care Diagnostics
Web Abstract
In last decade, microfluidics-based platforms have attracted significant attention for the development of biomedical diagnostic sensors, due to their rapid, portable, and low-cost based paradigm of operation. Many of these devices use either qualitative or semi-quantitative approach of detection. Therefore, to improve the sensitivity of the detection approach, we plan to integrate these miniaturized devices with smart electronic gadgets for easy, and inexpensive diagnostics of multiple diseases.
