Project Title
Light based ultrasound array detector development for diagnosing RBC under various disease model in infant
Web Abstract
. Due to photoacoustic effect, biological tissue both in normal and abnormal condition generates high frequency large bandwidth, low amplitude acoustic signals which is challenging to detect with conventional PZT, PVDF etc material based detectors. To the best of our knowledge we will introduce, for the first time, an advanced ultrasound array detector and photoacoustic based diagnostic tool for diagnosing Red Blood Cells both optical and elastic way. In that path laser light will be used to design a very sensitive large bandwidth ultrasound sensor array for diagnosing normal and malfunctioning Red Blood Cell (RBC) in infant mouse model.
